The Director General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons briefed participants on trafficking in persons, common recruitment tactics and practical prevention strategies.<\/p><p>Displaced communities can face heightened risks when poverty, insecurity and urgent needs make deceptive job, travel or support offers appear attractive. Each has a different role, but community trust is essential to the success of every intervention.<\/p><p>Through STEAP, OWACDO continues to bring prevention information closer to people facing heightened vulnerability.
