The sessions used participatory and culturally responsive methods so that women could connect learning with their household and community realities.<\/p><p>Some participants who were unable to read or write at the beginning developed basic literacy and numeracy skills. The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management also described the programme as timely support for restoring dignity and belonging.<\/p><p>Women for Women International encouraged graduates to pass their knowledge to others. She emphasised that women with skills, confidence and knowledge can strengthen both families and communities.<\/p><p>Graduation therefore marks a beginning as well as an achievement.
